In this presentation I'm briefly discussing how female artists have been neglected in the art world, how women as subjects have been depicted and what impact it has on the society nowadays. I'm talking about these topics more in depth on this following link: https://www.lucie-photography.com/blog/categories/critical-research I'm also introducing female artists who would try to transform the stereotypical attitudes towards women. These artists are Guerrilla Girls, Sylvia Sleigh and Anne Brigman. And last but not least I'm explaining how this research is related to my work, what my photographs are about and what I would like to achieve.
